Robbie Rivera Worships Ultra Naté

Veteran dance diva Ultra Naté has delivered the follow-up to “Waiting On You,” her club collaboration with Michelle Williams that was released in December.

Like that soulful matchup, which peaked at #11 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart, “Save Me,” is slated to appear on Naté’s forthcoming album, Hero Worship. Both tracks were produced by Brinsley Evans, but this time, Miami DJ/producer Robbie Rivera joined them in the studio.

Issued this week on Rivera’s label, Juicy Music, “Save Me” is quite the treat, a euphoric house track with gorgeous ebbs and flows. Though DJ Chus and Abel Ramos have also remixed the track, Rivera’s Anthem Mix is the one to worship, leaving you to wonder why he and Naté hadn’t joined forces long ago. Twenty years into her career, Naté’s dancefloor instincts remain spot-on:
