Whether or not you own Foster The People‘s excellent debut album, Torches — though there’s really no excuse not to — if you watch television with any frequency you’re likely familiar with “Don’t Stop (Color On The Walls).” The song has been soundtracking a couple of Nissan commercials for several months.
Today, Foster The People debuted a music video for “Don’t Stop (Color On The Walls),” which follows closely behind “Call It What You Want,” released just last month. Like its commercial counterpart, the new clip for “Don’t Stop” is also car-centric, though the featured wheels belong to a beaten-up Chevy Citation driven by actress Gabourey Sidibe (The Big C, Precious).
Directed by the Daniels (the duo that lensed the L.A. trio’s “Helena Beat”), the video also gives Mark Foster, Mark Pontius, and Cubbie Fink the chance to show off some (comedic) acting chops.
The Daniels also photographed the “Don’t Stop” video in 3D for the Nintendo 3DS, which means nothing to this gaming-system Luddite but sounds cool nonetheless.
