This ain’t your mama’s mashup.
About a year ago, Swedish production duo Drop Out Orchestra rebuilt Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up,” rolling the redhead’s 1988 hit into sunset discoland. (Hear their delicious dub here.)
Now another duo, SoCal DJs Tres Dubois (Lionel Rifkin & Nick Gray), has used Drop Out Orchestra’s Rick Astley rework as the basis for an extended trip through Madonna’s “Holiday.”
Whether your preferred disco workout is the bus stop or the hustle, get set to shake your groove thing to the carefree, cowbell-heavy funk of “Rick’s Holiday,” which Drop Out Orchestra has deemed “really well put together.”
