I like exactly two tracks on The Presets‘ new album, Pacifica, released in September. New single “Promises” happens to be one of them (credit the Rick Astley-esque vibe of Julian Hamilton’s vocals), and now the Aussie synthpop duo has debuted a music video to match.

New Zealand director duo Special Problems opt for a patchwork approach to “Promises,” splicing live action with computer-generated graphics. In this age of ever-shrinking attention spans, not knowing what’s coming next successfully captured mine.
