Frankmusik released his new EP, Far From Over, last month, just a few days before Valentine’s Day. The timing was a perfectly twisted move by Vincent Frank, as the 4-song set finds him mining recent heartbreak, polishing those million little pieces into flawless electropop.
Besides some brilliant melodies and the overall quality of the production, Frankmusik’s vocal range has never been more impressive. Taking us places he’s never been before on Far From Over, “Map” is an absolute standout. Framed by a frenzied beat, “Map” is the most upbeat kiss-off song I’ve heard in quite some time.
Filming the music video in the Welsh countryside was not without its challenges, as Frank and his crew endured a hailstorm and were locked in a quarry after hours. But they found their way back.
If you should find yourself at the end of a relationship, go ahead and have a good cry over Adele’s 21 first. But when you’ve had enough wallowing, cue up Far From Over. Frankmusik’s take on heartbreak rolls just as deep, but thanks to higher BPMs, I bet it’ll be more cathartic.

We’ve not long to wait for more new music from Frankmusik. His third album, Between, is scheduled for release on April 1. “Due to the fact I’m such a fool in love,” he tweeted.
