It’s always a good day when Meg Myers comes through with a new tune, though on “Heart Heart Head” she sounds like she’s had better ones.

Striking a sinister chord not dissimilar from Myers’ previous output, all produced by Doctor Rosen Rosen, “Heart Heart Head” creeps along until the Tennessee-born singer-songwriter gives us the vocal equivalent of losing her faculties.

Thankfully, Myers pulls it back together by the end of the song, so this isn’t the last we’ll hear from her heart or head.
