British dance duo Basement Jaxx are back, and boy, Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe sure want you to know it.

“Back 2 The Wild” is a cacophonous production from the Brixton twosome that corrals roaring lions, tribal horns recorded in Africa, and vocals from “Korean Seoul Sisters” Miss Emma Lee & Baby Chay. “It’s a freak show!” the pair shouts at one point, and it totally is, but the ridiculously nonsensicalness of “Back 2 The Wild” is what makes it so brilliant.

The brass in the track’s first breakdown reminds me of Madonna’s “4 Minutes,” while the second begs for your best twerking. Heed nature’s call.
