The Knocks have debuted the music video for their new single, “Modern Hearts,” which not only features vocals by fellow New Yorker St. Lucia but some bagpipes too. While the song’s been kicking about since the start of April, “Modern Hearts” has a different feel now that summer has officially begun. It’s a tune made for top-down weather — happy hours, pool parties, weekend getaways, and the like.
In the clip for “Modern Hearts,” directed by Taylor Ward, a couple gets horizontal inside and outside of a stolen Range Rover in the concrete jungle of New York City.
Remixes of “Modern Hearts,” courtesy Treasure Fingers, Goldroom, NAPT, Amtrac, and Fareoh, are out today. St. Lucia’s debut album is out later this year via Neon Gold.
