Better yet, let’s try some basic, balls-to-the-wall rock instead. Whitesnake is back! In April, David Coverdale set his revolving-door band back in motion with Good To Be Bad, the first Whitesnake record in nearly a decade. I haven’t a clue whether the album is any good (“Anyone? Bueller?”), but nothing new can tarnish their #1 smash from 1987, “Here I Go Again.”

Well, that’s the video I’d wanted to feature, but the “Embedding disabled by request” message has foiled me again, so you’ll have to visit YouTube to see Tawny Kitaen doing nearly-naked splits across a car hood. But Universal Music Group hasn’t stopped folks from sharing the video for Whitesnake’s follow-up #2 hit, “Is This Love,” which features Kitaen stretching something else—her acting chops. Ooh, watch the domestic drama unfold:

First dating and then marrying Coverdale, Kitaen starred in several Whitesnake clips. The pair divorced in 1991 after just two years of marriage.

Guess it wasn’t the love either was searching for.
