While The Knocks are currently promoting their “Modern Hearts” team-up with St. Lucia (the music video arrived late last month), the New York duo’s 2012 single, “The Feeling,” still has plenty of fight left.
Dave Edwards remixed “The Feeling” earlier this year, and now Peter Thomas (aka Betty Who‘s brilliant producer) has given The Knocks’ track new life with a tight 8-bit electro makeover that, in retrospect, would have been a great pick for the single mix.
If you’re feeling lucky, try to spot Thomas’ nod to early Madonna. Hint: It shines pretty brightly. (Captain Obvious, signing off.)
