For the fourth single from their full-length debut, Secondhand Rapture, Brooklyn-London duo MS MR has chosen wisely, premiering a music video for “Think Of You” today. Recalling classic Motown wounded pop (“You Keep Me Hanging On,” for one), “Think Of You” deserves a turn in the spotlight, even if Diana Ross & The Supremes would never have deigned to use such unladylike language.
Directed by BRTHR — what’s with everyone’s opposition to vowels these days? — MS MR says the “Think Of You” clip was born from their fascination with a old public access television show, TV Party, which they’ve reimagined for a modern age.
Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow roped in a bunch of their New York pals to participate in their trippy tubefest, including friend of The Knocks, Alex Winston.
