It may not have been Avec Sans‘ intention, but the upstart London duo’s new song, “Shiver,” has a shimmer that’s very seasonably appropriate.

My advice: Throw the latest free download from Alice Fox and Jack St. James on your iPod (or iPhone or other portable listening device), put your headphones on, and head out into the brisk fall air, escaping to Avec Sans’ world for four minutes. “Shiver” is such absolute electropop magic, you might not want to return to reality.
