One of 2020’s punch-in-the-gut music industry stories involved The Good Natured. Their record label dropped the English trio prior to the release of their debut album, Prism, and then quite un-good naturedly refused to relinquish the masters.

Left to start from square one, Sarah McIntosh, Hamish McIntosh, and George Hinton have regrouped as promised, reemerging now as Lovestarrs. “Get Your Sexy On” is the first taste of what they’ve got going in 2014. The song is markedly less spiky than the trio’s previous productions, but they certainly still know how to file a sharp hook.

Worth noting is that “Lovers,” released as a free download last March when The Good Natured announced their album’s Prism title, is streaming via Lovestarrs’ new SoundCloud.
