Over a year has passed since I last wrote about Little Dragon, then heard collaborating with Big Boi. But on May 13, the Swedish foursome will finally serve up their third full-length, Nabuma Rubberband, the follow-up to 2011’s Ritual Union.

First single, “Klapp Klapp,” indicates a wild swing away from Ritual Union‘s electro R&B sound, with Yukimi Nagano and her three-man wrecking crew opting for an even more left-field approach. The unhinged vibe is well suited for the song’s “Falling apart, apart, apart, apart, apart!” refrain, and after one spin through, you’ll want another taste of Little Dragon’s hurricane whip.
