Wrapping a weekend’s worth of work in Chicago prepping Popservations 2.0, yesterday was a travel day for me. Now back in San Francisco, I’m catching up on some of the music goodness I missed over the past few days, like this amazing mashup of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” with Britney Spears’ “Till The World Ends,” featured on EW’s Music Mix.

With so many lousy mashups littering the Interweb, I never would have guessed that Adele’s scorned-woman gospel fury would fit like a glove atop Britney’s apocalyptic dance stomper. Thankfully, French mashup artiste Jarod Ripley did, and that’s why we have the brilliance that is his “Rolling Till The World Ends.”

Going the extra mile, Ripley crafted not one but two music videos for his mashup. One slices and dices scenes from the official videos for “Rolling In The Deep” and “Till The World Ends,” while the second combines Adele’s and Britney’s performances of their respective tunes on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
