Sounds like July is shaping up to be a huge month for Bright Light Bright Light, both professionally and personally. New single, “Disco Moment,” is cued for release on July 4, and less than two weeks later, he’ll perform at Pride Bristol, sharing the stage with Kelis.

He’s particularly ecstatic about his participation in the Pride event, writing on his website: “If you have read my tweets / blog you will know I am a massive Kelis fan. SO YOU CAN IMAGINE my joy.”

Well, no actual imagining is required, since Bright Light Bright Light has been inspired to honor “this blast of happiness” by sharing “Filthshake,” a mashup he’s made of Kelis’ 2003 smash “Milkshake” with Filthy Dukes’ “This Rhythm.”
