It was only last week that I featured Swedish electropop group Little Dragon, a new-to-me discovery, and their song, “Nightlight.”

As a reminder of how weirdly/wonderfully the world works, over the weekend I came upon “Wildfire” from SBTRKT featuring Little Dragon. It’s the first single from the mask-wearing London DJ/producer’s self-titled debut, due 6/28. (Last year, SBTRKT remixed Little Dragon’s “Never Never,” included on their Blinking Pigs EP.)

With Little Dragon frontwoman Yukimi Nagano contributing R&B-hued vocals, the 2-step syncopation of “Wildfire” creeps along like a long-lost Timbaland production for Missy Elliot or Aaliyah.

“Wildfire” spreads the love in two flavors, the original album version (above) and in a remix featuring Drake. The Degrassi: Next Generation alum didn’t forget to pack his dirty mouth when hopping on the track:
