After being sampled by superstars Kanye West (“Stronger”) and Janet Jackson (“So Much Betta”) in the last couple of years, electronic dance duo Daft Punk gets the full-on cover treatment from Danish pop faves Alphabeat.
For doubters who think electronic music is so linked to technology that its songs can’t survive without it, listen up. Alphabeat strips “Digital Love” down to acoustic instrumentation and the melodic genius of Daft Punk becomes clearer still. Hear here:
Daft Punk is currently in its Paris studio, working on new material (and no doubt, inventive new ways of masking their faces).
