Paul Simon career-resurgent Graceland arrived in 1986, which means that June’s 25th anniversary box set celebrating his classic Afrobeat album was about a year behind.

Matters of math aside, several indie artists have honored Graceland‘s silver milestone by tackling songs from the album. Somehow it wasn’t until just a few days ago that I finally hit play on the best of them, Bosco Delrey‘s cover of “I Know What I Know.”

The (fittingly) Memphis-based musician, signed to Diplo’s Mad Decent label, amazingly marries the worldly feel of Simon’s original to a flashy house beat. It’s a fantastic way to fete 25 years.
