However much I love Ellie Goulding‘s Halcyon — #8 on Popservations’ Top 25 Albums of 2012 — there’s no escaping that the UK singer-songwriter’s sophomore set is a bit of a downer. But now Goulding has cranked up the BPMs on her breakup album, teaming with Nike to offer Halcyon Remixed in advance of the Nike Women Half Marathon in Washington DC at the end of this month.

An avid runner (she will be among the race’s 15,000 participants), Goulding got some of her favorite remixers to participate in the set, saying it features “such good running vibes.” Listen to Halcyon Remixed below and grab a free download to soundtrack the next time your feet hit the street or the treadmill. Some cubicle dancing will also suffice.

The early ’90s house vibes on the “Dead In The Water” remix are a fast favorite.
