Following on the heels of yesterday’s post about a just-released free Dido MP3, Coldplay, the band responsible for beginning this whole let’s-give-fans-a-free-track craze with “Violet Hill” is giving it away again.
“Death Will Never Conquer,” a track featured on Coldplay’s recent tour but not included on Viva La Vida, has been offered via the band’s website since mid-July (proving I need to pay closer attention to my e-mail). Who knows how much longer this latest freebie will last, so stake your claim to “Death Will Never Conquer” soon.
The band also recently released a second video for their #1 smash single, “Viva La Vida,” calling the Anton Corbijn-directed clip their “attempt at a video cover version.” An homage to Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy The Silence,” which Corbijn also lensed, makes this new take worth the watch:
