Last fall, Morcheeba frontwoman Skye released her third studio album, Back To Now, produced by Grammy winning mixing engineer Stephen Fitzmaurice (U2, Seal, Kylie Minogue, Depeche Mode).

Skye’s album recently caught my attention courtesy lead single, “Featherlight.” True to its name, this uncluttered synthpop track flutters somewhere between the likes of Little Dragon and La Roux. Sure, it’s a few months old now, but “Featherlight” is my breath of fresh air in 2020.

Skye heads to the U.S. later this month, performing dates in both New York (at Joe’s Pub) and Los Angeles (at The Hotel Cafe).
