I’ve been crushing on Cults for a while now, thanks to a pair of stellar previews, “Go Outside” and “Abducted.” Well, the duo’s self-titled debut finally arrives next Tuesday (seriously, the wait has seemed never-ending), but you can hear it now via NPR, which is streaming the album in its entirety.

In the meantime, you can take some Cults to go with free downloads of the two tunes that started my fascination. Head over to Amazon MP3 for “Go Outside,” and snatch the even better “Abducted,” by signing up for the band’s email list.

The music video for “Abducted” premiered last month, a metaphor for how some relationships can be just as confining as being kidnapped, locked in a trunk, etc. Hard to believe that Cults’ members Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion attended film school, I know.
