Ah, football, and its many entertaining (to me) double-entendres: Tight ends, wide receivers. The crackback block and the kneel-down. Not to mention the “Mo.” Oh, snap!
Here’s something, um, unique to add to the gridiron’s pile of Unintentionally Gay. Following the success of the 1985 Chicago Bears’ “Super Bowl Shuffle,” other pro football teams thought they might try blowing your mind, too. The 1986 Los Angeles Rams, for example. But if anyone with the team had any sense, “Let’s Ram It” would never have entered the annals of football history:
“If you ram it just right, you can ram it all night”? Hail, Mary! Such lascivious lyrics might have been expected from ’80s-era Prince, but an all-American football team? And the choreography! Check out #21’s moves at the end of the clip; Nolan Cromwell is a guy who knows how to ram it, all right.
Color “Hollywood Handsome” gold and blue. Tell me, has he got the look?
