Yesterday, Coldplay announced the title and release date of their much anticipated fifth album, Xylo Myloto, out October 24. But one fan, Dylan Woodley, had been feverishly working on a Lego-fied video for the title song from the band’s last studio effort, 2008’s Viva La Vida, finally posting his finished piece just a few days prior.
Two years’ worth of dedication to building his brick epic has paid off. Not only is Woodley’s Lego labor of love amazingly well constructed, but Coldplay was suitably impressed with his handiwork too, tweeting out a link to the “Viva La Vida” video today.
See more of Woodley’s brickwork via his NXTManiac Studios Blog or his YouTube channel.
