Returning from a six-year hiatus with the release of Not Your Kind Of People, their fifth studio album, Garbage has been touring nonstop, visiting nearly every corner of the world. No rest for the wicked, as the saying goes, and one I’m sure Shirley Manson would agree with.
Now, following several dates in South America and an extended European jaunt that included Russia, Garbage is back in the States for a well-deserved break. But before going their separate ways for the holidays, the band played a couple of shows in Southern California and also stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday to perform “I Hate Love,” a standout track from Not Your Kind Of People.
Garbage’s global criss-crossing kicks off again in mid-February, with the band headed to New Zealand and Australia.
