A full week hasn’t passed since his last mention here, but I really can’t get enough of Theophilus London, and I hope you’re soon similarly enamored with the singer-rapper.
London popped over to Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, performing “I Stand Alone,” off his debut full-length, Timez Are Weird These Days, released yesterday. The kicky track is a standout on an album of many such songs, and one that survives the transition from recording studio to live performance very well.
Don’t overlook London’s talent. I think he’s made for even bigger stages (which could be where he and his band were headed after they finished the song, briefly leaving Kimmel in the lurch).
Purchase Theophilus London – “I Stand Alone” via iTunes. If you prefer to try before you buy, Timez Are Weird These Days is streaming in full for free via Spinner.
