What Masquerade? Perhaps realizing that recent releases from her fellow female pop stars have played out similar thematics (Britney Spears’ Circus, Pink’s Funhouse), Kelly Clarkson’s fourth album will instead carry the title of All I Ever Wanted.
How about that cover art, folks? KC front and center, clad in leath-uh, with just the slightest hint of a smile. By the color scheme, I’d say she’s squarely back in the pop saddle. And fingers-crossed, she’ll be riding high atop the charts when All I Ever Wanted hits shelves (physical and virtual) on March 17.
Plus, the countdown to first single, “My Life Would Suck Without You,” just got a bit shorter. According to Billboard, the “propulsive blast of rock-tinged pop” hits the Amazon MP3 store this Friday. (Radio is still scheduled to get the track on the following Monday, but once it’s out, I doubt they’ll wait to spin it.)
