Making his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, electronic musician Cepia (aka Huntley Miller) must be intimately familiar with the sort of winter wrath Mother Nature has been delivering in time for Christmas 2010 here and abroad.
But as long as your immediate plans don’t include a pressing need to get from point A to point B (or a football game under the Metrodome), a great big snowfall can be quite peaceful. Cepia’s cover of the Vince Guaraldi Trio’s “Christmas Time Is Here” captures that sentiment perfectly. The track actually dates back a few years, but the soundscape he’s created is what I imagine the view would be like from inside a snowglobe, snowflakes swirling all around you. Hear here:
