Angus & Julia Stone’s “Big Jet Plane,” the gentle, gorgeous hit that snared the Sydney siblings the Australian Recording Industry Association’s (ARIA) Single of the Year in 2010, is now taking off on the dancefloor, thanks to a pair of fellow countrymen.

Aussie production duo Goodwill & Hook N Sling have sampled a sizeable chunk of “Big Jet Plane,” layering Angus Stone’s vocals atop an uplifting trance-lite orchestration for the club-friendly, but no less gorgeous, “Take You Higher.” The track is currently gaining airplay on dance radio stations, and will hopefully land on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart soon.

A music video for “Take You Higher” premiered last month, filmed on the east coast of New South Wales (note the VW bus’ right-side steering wheel). Directed by Benn Jae, the clip offers a glimpse of the pros — and possible cons — of picking up a hitchhiker. Was it all a super-sexy dream?
