After months of searching iTunes and seeing only second-rate covers, Katy B‘s “What Love Is Made Of” has finally officially made it to these shores. The single debuted back in May, the first taste of the London singer’s upcoming follow-up to her 2011 debut, On A Mission.

While the house-meets-rave original stands on its own, I’ve really wanted to get my mitts on the remix of “What Love Is Made Of” from Marc “MK” Kinchen. Thankfully the Detroit house vet’s rework — a brilliantly aligned contribution — also made the trip to the U.S., included on the What Love Is Made Of EP alongside remixes by Felix Da Housecat and Brackles.

Earlier this month, Katy B served up a second single, “5 AM.” Now the wait begins for that one to surface here for purchase.
