If my memory isn’t failing me, Bridesmaids is the first film I’ve seen in a real-live theater since last summer’s Inception. And boy, was it worth dealing with everything I detest about the public movie-going experience.
Never been a big Kristen Wiig fan, but she totally won me over (she co-wrote Bridesmaids with Groundlings pal Annie Mumolo). But Melissa McCarthy (Gilmore Girls‘ Sookie) stole the film with a fearless performance she says was inspired by Food Network host Guy Fieri. “It’s comin’ out like hot lava!”
If you haven’t seen Bridesmaids, you must. And if you have, Wilson Phillips’ “Hold On” is probably still stuck in your head, but you haven’t seen it all until you’ve watched these NSWF outtakes from the film, posted today on Funny Or Die.
Jon Hamm has a dirty, dirty mouth on him, though this series of clips proves the ladies of Bridesmaids are no slouches, either.
