Scottish DJ/producer Calvin Harris‘ remix of Florence + The Machine’s “Spectrum (Say My Name)” premiered a couple of weeks ago, and now his take is officially available for consumption by the masses.
The participants couldn’t be happier with the public reaction to the remix, as evidenced by yesterday’s Twitter exchange. Paul Epworth, the song’s co-writer and original producer, and Florence Welch are certainly chuffed, as they say across the pond.

Harris responded in the affirmative. (A man of few words, Calvin.)

Here’s the reason they’re all atwitter:
Out today, the “Spectrum (Say My Name)” EP also includes re-dos by Aluna George, Maya Jane Coles, and Taito Tikaro and Flavio Zarza. I haven’t seen any insider tweets cheering the non-Calvin Harris remixes, and with good reason. Two of them fall on the other end of the spinworthy spectrum. I won’t say any names though.
