Last fall, Queen Of Hearts released her debut EP, The Arrival, plus a plethora of free remixes. Now the 24-year-old British talent is back with a brand-new tune, “Neon.”
Produced by John Myers, “Neon” is the sound of Goldfrapp meeting Girls Aloud. Actually, it’s even better than that meeting in the ladies’ room might suggest. The electro-strut of “Neon” is nothing short of electrifying.
“Neon” is released 5/14 via ATG Records as a limited 7″ single, backed with “Tears In The Rain,” produced by Stefan Storm of The Sound of Arrows. The digital release adds bonus tracks “Forgive Me” and “No More.” Also forthcoming are remixes of “Neon” from Mark Reeder, Perseus, Ghost Beach, Lightwaves, and DYM. I imagine Queen Of Hearts might parcel some of those out as freebies along the way.
A music video for “Neon” is coming later this month, directed by Between Man & Beast. Having just reviewed the treatment today, Queen Of Hearts tweeted, “I’ve got one word to say. ‘Whoa.'”
