As if I needed one more reason to adore Tina Fey, yesterday she revealed on The Late Show with David Letterman that she’d once worked at Dairy Queen (and quit). Having also done time at the DQ (years ago, during the “We Treat You Right” days), I can’t help but feel an even closer kinship to the 30 Rock star.
Fey revealed the fast-food stop on her resume after Letterman prompted her to trot out her still-great Sarah Palin impression the day after the midterm elections:
Alas, the clip ends before Letterman asks whether DQ still sells Dilly Bars (of course, they do!), with Fey giving a shout-out to another of the chain’s signature treats, my fave, the Peanut Buster Parfait. I’d turn over a picnic table for one of those right about now.
