Spent some time over the weekend catching up on Project Runway, Season 5. In the short span of those two episodes, I—and a good cross-section of my tribe, I’m sure—fell hard and fast for adorable Wesley Nault only to see him auf’d on numero dos.

Posessing a sartorial flair that I envy (how many men can pull off the dress shirt, tie, and shorts combo without looking like a little lost schoolboy?), Wesley was all wrinkles during the eco challenge. The chocolate brown silk fabric his model selected didn’t help, for sure. Seems she wasn’t too bright, either, as Wesley explained in a post-Runway interview with Entertainment Weekly:

“She actually said, when they said it was a green challenge and they’d be picking out green fabrics, ”That’s perfect. My eyes are green.’ And I was like, [Gasp!]. This is green eco-friendly, not green the color! So I just looked at her, blinking, and was like, ‘What?'”

She, in fact, did return with some mint green fabric in addition to the hideous brown, but Wesley wisley decided to avoid the mint chocolate chip combo.

Cut from the competition, Wesley has revealed that he and another Runway contestant, Daniel Feld, are dating. How cute is that? Well, don’t fret. There’s more Wesley to go around thanks to the Interwebs.
