Monsieur Adi, the Paris producer who’s worked his moody magic on remixes of Ellie Goulding’s “High For This” and Beyoncé’s “End Of Time,” as well as epic, top-to-bottom reconstructions of five classic Madonna songs, including “Erotica,” now puts Lana Del Rey’s “Born To Die” in a cinematic trance.

It dawned on me near the midpoint of his “Born To Die” remix that Monsieur Adi’s managed to carve out his own mini-genre: Cathedral Disco.
