Who thinks Christmas was better in the Eighties? Well, The Futureheads, for one, and I’m inclined to second their emotion. 

I grew up during the Reagan Decade, and as the saying goes, “Christmas is for kids,” so that’s probably why. Still, it’s hard not to look upon Christmases past with major nostalgia, remembering holiday times that were likely not so picture-perfect in reality.

Maybe you’re younger, and think Christmas was better in the Nineties, or older, and think the Seventies were where it was at. To whichever generation you belong, I think you’ll enjoy The Futureheads’ “Christmas Was Better In the 80s,” a bit of raucous retro-Christmas cheer.
