Rum and I haven’t been friends since ’99, but now that Bacardi has turned me on to a song I’d otherwise missed, I may need to rethink the drink.

Matt and Kim‘s “Daylight” serves as the soundtrack to Bacardi’s “Eras” commercial, which dances through the decades in celebration of “The original mojito.” Though “Daylight” has been kicking around since September, with the rum brand’s spot all over TV in the last couple of months, the Brooklyn-based duo’s anthemic track is benefiting from the major exposure.
