Matt and Kim have released “Let’s Go,” the first track off Lightning, the Brooklyn duo’s fourth album, due this fall.

After holing themselves up in their recording studio this past winter, Matt Johnson says “Let’s Go” is just the first of several songs from Lightning that they plan to roll out over the summer. “Just for us, put it on your iPod, get in the car, roll your windows down, and turn your stereo up!”

As that may not be possible at this moment on Monday, alternatively I suggest turning your computer speakers on/plugging in your headphones and then clicking play on Matt and Kim’s “official first listen” video for “Let’s Go” below. The clip features the ball-handling talents of Pat The Roc, while Matt and Kim watch from behind:
