The terrible truth of having so much good music to pick from is that too often some worthy contenders end up getting overlooked.

Vancouver indie rockers Said The Whale released their third album, Little Mountain, at the start of March. Having heard the band’s new set set in advance, “Loveless” was the track I was most interested in featuring. But Said The Whale had undertaken making a series of music videos to accompany the album’s 15 tracks, and “Loveless” wasn’t yet among them. So I held off (though in my defense, I did request to be alerted).

Anyway, I thought back to “Loveless” today and discovered that its music video was the final to be completed, posted in May. Often, I’d just move on, but the concept for the clip is so cute that I can’t help but ignore the long delay and present “Loveless” today. The tune’s still good too, said the apologetic blogger:
