Two weeks after Duran Duran released the title track of their new album, All You Need Is Now, as a free download (which I hope you wisely snagged), the band has premiered a video for the single.
Today, of course, brings even bigger news, as the date also marks the digital debut of All You Need Is Now, their 13th studio effort, a ‘return to Rio ‘ affair produced by Mark Ronson. I’m holding out for the expanded physical edition, which doesn’t arrive until February, but I’m digging the tracks I’ve heard.
Largely an in-studio/behind-the-scenes/backstage piece, the “All You Need Is Now” video doesn’t exactly hearken back to Duran Duran’s more artful days. But though the clip suggests neither “Planet Earth” or “Hungry Like The Wolf” this time through, it does serve as a solid re-introduction to the band. And the DD fellas are still looking fine, even with Simon LeBeard in front.
