“A New Word To Say” isn’t a brand new tune from Bright Light Light Bright. Dating back a couple of years (originally a free download, so consult your digital library), the Boom Bip-produced track will appear on Welsh-born, London-based Rod Thomas’ long-gestating debut album, Make Me Believe In Hope, out June 25 in the U.S. (June 4 in the UK).
What is new, however, is a music video for “A New Word To Say.” Directed by Hollie Newton, the eye-popping color-matched visual accompaniment features a scruffy, bow-tied Thomas, 3,000 balloons, a few prickly things (suspense!), and a toy robot that steals the show.
Pre-order Bright Light Bright Light – Make Me Believe In Hope via iTunes. If you prefer the physical edition, order direct and (hopefully) receive earlier.
