Though “Moves” served as the final single from Make Me Believe In Hope, Bright Light Bright Light has put a beautiful button on his year-long album campaign with a new version of “Grace” featuring Beth Hirsch. The Florida-born singer-songwriter is best known for her contributions to Air’s 1998 album, Moon Safari.
Honored and “over the moon” that his original recording of “Grace” was featured in this weekend’s Coronation Festival Gala, Bright Light Bright Light is sharing his unreleased recording with Hirsch as a free download. “Grace,” of course, closes out Make Me Believe In Hope — expanded last month as The New Batch — making this newly released duet an affecting (and effective) epilogue.
By the looks of the foliage featured in the accompanying video, Rod’s been holding onto this gem for a while.
