Scissor Sisters have unleashed the music video for their new Calvin Harris-produced single, “Only The Horses.”
It appears that someone has thought to set the quartet straight on the whole ‘members of the animal kingdom’ thing, as the clip features a pack of actual horses rather than the zebra that appears on the “Only The Horses” cover art. Zoology can be so confusing!
But we can’t all be expected to be experts on everything. For instance, I haven’t a clue about the significance of a paint-drenched Jake, Del, Babydaddy, and Ana trapped inside a pyramid. What does it all mean?
Still no word on a U.S. release date for “Only The Horses,” though it’s out in the UK on 5/13, with mixes by Calvin Harris and Max Sanna & Steve Pitron.
Scissor Sisters’ new album, Magic Hour, which Ana Matronic describes as a “grab bag of sounds,” is out on 5/28. Yesterday, the band revealed the cover art (more zebras!) and the tracklisting:
