After calling up Beyoncé and pushing people’s buttons with the video for “Telephone,” the world’s favorite outré popstar has premiered “Alejandro,” the latest single from Gaga’s The Fame Monster. The nearly nine-minute clip is lensed by photog-turned-director Steven Klein, who has previously collaborated with Madonna on print ads, concert footage, and album covers:
Actually, Madonna should ring up her lawyers and see how she might finagle some money from Gaga and Christina Aguilera (check “Not Myself Tonight“). Those two young’ns are clearly cribbing from inspired by the pop icon.
