Dragonette has debuted the music video for their new single, “Let It Go.”
Directed by Drew Lightfoot, who previously did the band’s videos for “Easy” and “Pick Up The Phone,” “Let It Go” casts frontwoman Martina Sorbara as an unwilling test subject. Kidnapped and administered an unnamed chemical substance, she’s exposed to sensory stimuli, from watching a series of images in quick succession to petting a fluffy white rabbit.
The main effect of Sorbara’s altered state is a big smile and unbridled dancing — basically what “Let It Go” prompts you to do without the need for pills.
Purchase Dragonette – “Let It Go” via iTunes, Amazon MP3. There’s also a quite good remix by The Knocks.
