Last November, Kisses covered Robert Palmer’s “Johnny And Mary.” Nine months later, the Los Angeles duo (and real-life couple) have birthed a music video for their rendition of the rocker’s tale-of-two from 1980’s Clues.
The clip was filmed while Kisses was on tour in Rio de Janeiro, the host of the 2016 Summer Olympics (lest we’ve already forgotten since our London comedown). Jesse Kivel and Zinzi Edmundson soak up some local color, and the city’s iconic Christ The Redeemer statue secures some requisite screen time. Check out Johnny and Mary and JC below:
Last week, Kisses debuted a new single, “Fluttering Heartbeat.” The breezy song is co-produced by Saint Etienne’s Pete Wiggs and Xenomania associate Tim Larcombe, who are also helming the duo’s next album.
