A little over a month ago, I previewed Gemini Club‘s new EP, Here We Sit, featuring two tracks, “By Surprise” and “Can’t Believe You Said That.”

Last week, the Chicago electropop outfit released the 7-song Here We Sit, with iTunes tapping “By Surprise” for the store’s Indie Spotlight free download. That top-of-the-page feature that no doubt secured the musically multi-dimensional band some brand new fans.

Well, Dan Brunelle, Tom Gavin, and Gordon Bramli had better get used to such newfound adoration, as today they premiered the music video for “Can’t Believe You Said That,” a buzzy slice of indie synthwork that plays well with Foster The People.

Directed by Bernard Ong, the clip stars the nattily attired trio, a splash of primary colors courtesy a slew of umbrellas, and a lone female doing her best Bob Fosse moves.
