London dance duo Simian Mobile Disco, whose music video for new single “Seraphim” explores the repetitive rituals and uncontrollable fascinations that plague a percentage of the population.

From excessive hand-washing to midnight runs, the various scenes are still less shocking than what TLC shows like My Strange Addiction and My Crazy Obsession detail, though daily documentation of one’s stove via Polaroids isn’t exactly typical behavior.

Directed by Aoife McArdle, the music video for “Seraphim” is oddly hypnotic, just like the track.

Simian Mobile Disco, who memorably accompanied Beth Ditto to the dancefloor last year, release their latest album, Unpatterns, on 5/15.
